The most important news going
on at FVBC is the remodling of our new Fellowship Hall. There are many volunteers gathering on most Saturdays to work
on the building. Even the young people of the church are working their hardest to help get this done.
Redoing the outside of the building and gettinng it leveled was the first thing that was tackled. Now that that is
out of the way, the workers are concentrating on gutting the inside. Once that is done, the plumbing and electrical will have
to be redone. Then starts the fun part - redesigning the layout and getting thing built.
There will a full kitchen in the fellowship hall, 2 bathrooms, and room for tables and chairs that will hold up to 150 people
comfortable. This will be such a blessing.
The new building will be where we will hold future events, such as when we have special Guest Speakers (like
Avi Lipki, Bill Cloud, Jonathan Settel). The tables will remain up for the events. That way people will be more comfortable,
have a place to place their notebooks and bibles if they wish to take notes.
It will also give church members
a place to enjoy fellowshipping with one another. It's going to be great when completed. This is an exciting time for FVBC.
